Now in truth I cannot even find the original winter UKMO hype which was
released in September 2005. Has it now disappeared with a less truthful
version of the forecast?

Anyhow UKMO have been got at by the government which is increasingly
characterised as a bunch of liars who are using them as a propaganda tool.
Hence the Australian Mrs Hewitt's outrageous claim on radio five several
weeks ago, that the UK had just experienced the coldest winter for 40
years!!!. Well I've sent several emails to Mrs Hewitt about this issue and
so far have received two replies but as of yet no answer to my question
