Default Weather in Southcote (W. Reading) - April 2006

Fair enough. You are not alone Eric, there is a site near me that gets
anomalously high temperature readings, a true temperature but due to enclosed
space and homemade equipment they are not consistent with standardised readings.
My previous site at Crowthorne, despite a proper Stevenson screen tended to read
a tad high in summer due to lack of airflow (surrounded by high conifers).

Cheers,

Will.

Will and all other interested parties...

Something you will have to get used to I'm afraid. Sensor is exposed in a
home made screen, but this is in an enclosed rear garden some 55ft x 25ft.
During sunny weather, I have noticed that maxima tend to be some 1 - 1.5 deg
higher than stations around. However, will take readings as they come and
not attempt to make any correction.
