At last an ET. A 65 KM/hr storm heading for Manilla in time for the change of lunar

This thing is growing hour by hour. And the misty weather is moving
into the UK at the same rate.

Official warnings of landslides and flash floods have been issued in
the Philippines as tropical storm Chanchu moves closer.

The storm, with winds up to 100 kilometres an hour, is expected to be
within 70 kilometres of the southern tip of Samar island early on
Friday.

Chanchu is expected to swing past the north coast of Mindoro island
near the capital, Manila, on Sunday.

Storm alerts have been issued for the central islands of Samar,
Masbate, Leyte, and Biliran as well as parts of the southern island of
Mindanao.

Residents are advised to take appropriate action.

It's Typhoon Chanchu now according to

120 Km/Hr. I don't know what that is in proper vectors but it seems
fast.

I wonder what records there are of these things causing landslides in
days of yore when there were trees on the Philippines.
