Pretty gloomy but dry here. Can hear thunder rumbling away to the South -
John any at Cranleigh ?

It seems to have been just to the south and south-east of us, but pretty
close - 2-3 miles away at a guess. At one point, coincident with a flash
of lightning the power went off but came back on after about a second. I
assume that something on the distribution network must have been hit.

Rainfall remains at 4.1mm from this morning. Didnt realise how sunny the SE
has been today! Cloudy throughout in the Heathrow area.

Pretty grey here too, though there was a little weak sunshine for a
brief time this morning.
