"Rain moves away from northern England early on Saturday afternoon."
No it bloody didn't.
Woke to heavy rain 0700-0800, followed by drizzle most of the morning.
Keeping an eye on the radar suggested a dry afternoon in prospect as the
block of rain drifted away to the east. So I set to some work in Mum's
garden. Constant light drizzle, becoming periods of light rain
1500-1700. None of which showed up on the radar _at all_.
Same here. After the expected morning rain there was drizzle for most of
the afternoon which didn't show up on the radar.
Now this sometimes happens here in a warm sector situation, hour after
hour of drizzle but not in a cold front sceanario.
