It's hardly new, Martin. When I worked at BP Research in the 70's

my
colleagues all knew of my interest in weather and if it looked a bit

thundery
they would ask, as a facetious catchphrase, "freak storm, Mr Hughes?"

to which
the reply would be something like "yeah, possibly, Mr So-and-so".
Alas, the newspapers - what can we do?

I was amused by ... quite a useful word for your smiling, sexy,
sizzling, soaraway Sun ;-)
