0900 WSW F4 20km -SHRA 4/SC 3/CU 7/SC T123D096
RMK: Wind ocnl F5; Odd cloud structure - 4Sc~012, 3Cu med (probably the
precipitating cloud, hence the shower)~015, 6Sc (thin)~018, 7Ac
(thin/sun seen briefly)~080. The precipitation definitely showery in
nature and confirmed as expected by the rather rounded upper trough
crossing us just now.
[ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z):
screen min: 11.0 grass min: 10.4 precipitation: 1.3 [24hr total: 01.3
mm]
other data: Light rain shower yestereve; ocnl periods rain/showers
overnight, mainly light, but brief moderate bursts during the early
hours. Wind not as strong as expected - the worst of it along the coast
and the gradient was easing somewhat. ]=
