Glad you are enjoying sunny Devon!

Could you elaborate for those of us not living in the south-west, what
a "grockle" is exactly? I notice that you and Will both use the term
(with a touch of amusement in your e-mail voice:-), and just wondered
where the word comes from.


A rather insulting term used to describe those who contribute
substantially to the economy of the region :-) I suspect that it is a
term not used by the more enlightened residents of that fine part of the
world.
