A rather insulting term used to describe those who contribute
substantially to the economy of the region :-) I suspect that it is a
term not used by the more enlightened residents of that fine part of the
world.

If I would have thought it was an insulting term then I would not have used
it, and now I am beginning to regret that I ever did, and in future I shall
just call them 'tourists' or 'holiday makers'.

As I said before, I got the term from a person who has lived here all his
life.
