Sunday, 04 June 2006
BRACKNELL (TAWFIELD)
0900 WSW F3 28km - 4/CS 7/CI T178D101
RMK: [COTRA, CAVOK]- complete/moderate intensity 22° halo from 4Cs
(previously complete cover)~250 or higher, underneath (as far as I can
tell - might not be far from), 7Ci/COTRA~300+. The condensation trails
were very striking a couple of hours earlier, with remarkable 'spread'
about the axis of each trail and considerable variation in character -
showing instability.
[ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z):
screen min: 09.3 grass min: 07.7 precipitation: NIL [24hr total: 00.0
mm]
other data: Noctilucent cloud (NLC) visible towards NE horizon diffusely
through dense Ci 0200Z. Given the density of the cirrus, must have been
a bright event. ]=
