When I heard Susan Charlton mention in passing that the temperatire in
Norwich this afternoon would be around 17C and in London 23C ,I thought ,oh
yeah....
Here on the northeast side of the capital we are often plagued by winds off
the North sea and today looks like a case in point,
Our current temp is just 15C and the wind feels pretty keen ,Presumably this
7/8 St Cu is a minor trough coming down from the north ,so it might cheer up
behind it ,but it would be nice if the forecasters could come out from
behind their barricades and explain what is actually going on .I know they
hate to be pinned down in case of getting it wrong( huh),but I'm sure the
great British public can handle it.
There must be several places in the UK where local; anomalies occur and are
ignored by the Met Office ,but unlike the Southeast they are covered by
local forecasters.
It's all very frustrating
