PS! Do you have any friends that can provide comparable data from a nearby
site on a continual basis and maybe these obvious errors
could be investigated further.

www.xcweather.co.uk/ gives current data for St Mawgan & Penzance,
amongst others in Cornwall. 08:50 this morning it was 17C at St.
Mawgan.

http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/...rtestdata.html
gives current data for ST Mawes (across the river from Falmouth). Up to
18C there at 09:15, as it is here in Penzance.

www.landsendweather.info/met/mainframe.htm gives data for the cliff top
near Land's End, where it's already 17.9.

The MetO forecast maximum for Newquay & Penzance today is 18C. Says it
all really.
If I don't get to 23C I'll be disappointed.
