Alina Jenkins' roller-coaster weather forecast!

On Thursday evening, BBC South Today got poor ol' Alina Jenkins to
broadcast the World's first ever weather forecast "live" from a
fairground roller-coaster!
Now, Alina is my favourite of all current weather presenters - she was
for example one of the very first to get the hang of presenting
isobar/frontal charts in the BBC's new graphics system - but I
generally HATE gimmicky forecasting. So it was going to be interesting
to see whether I'd love or hate THIS forecast!
Well as it turned out, I loved the fun of it more than I hated the
gimmick - for this one time only! I think it's well worth a look at
the video they've put up on the BBC South website - so if you're
interested, here it is (the web page with the story and a video link
at the foot of the page).
Personally, I can't stand all that stupid & gimmicky stuff.
You don't present the news from a roller coaster so it beats me why
anybody would want to present the weather from one.
But if it's real novelty you're after, perhaps they could return to the
Atlantic charts *all the time* and not just for the Countryfile forecast.
