Default [OBS] Bracknell (Tawfield) Sat 10 Jun 2006

Saturday, 10 June 2006
BRACKNELL (TAWFIELD)
0900 ESE F3-4 40km - 2/CI T237D132
RMK: [CAVOK & COTRA] - 2Ci fib~300+; sky quite blue, deeply so away
from the sunward horizon - strength of sun going to be a problem for
those prone to burning.
[ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z):
screen min: 14.0 grass min: 12.4 precipitation: NIL [24hr total: 00.0
mm]
other data: With no usable dew deposit overnight, the warm soil etc.,
surfaces are 'crisp & dry' now - a high fire risk. ]=

1300 ESE F5 50km - 1/CI T278D091
RMK: [CAVOK & COTRA] 1 Ci (as far as I can see, produced by
condensation trails)~300+. Sky colour still quite blue/un-polluted.
Easily the warmest day of the year (so far) here.=

1500 SE F4-5 50km - 1/CI T283D120
RMK: [CAVOK] - 1Ci spi/unc has been increasing slowly towards western
horizon, otherwise sky clear/blue. Note increase in dew point.=

1800 SE F3-4 45km - 2/CI T269D122
RMK: [CAVOK & COTRA] - 2Ci fib, with isol COTRA element.
[ DAYTIME DATA (09Z - 18Z):
screen max: 28.9 precipitation: NIL
other data: Note update on 15Z observation for maximum temperature;
easily the warmest day of the year so far, and the warmest day here
since 31st August last year (29.0°C).
Never mind the high heat & pollen warning - we need a BBQ warning! Clean
English air now thoroughly polluted with the smell of lighter fuel and
burnt offerings. ]=
