BRACKNELL (TAWFIELD)
0900 WSW F2 30km - 7/CI T237D173
RMK: [CAVOK & COTRA] - 7 Ci/COTRA~250/280, mostly fibrous, but some
denser patches, though not as 'organised' as earlier - see below. Not
sure about the dew point: seems a bit high to me.
[ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z):
screen min: 17.3 grass min: 16.0 precipitation: NIL [24hr total: 00.0
mm]
other data: Spectacular colour to the sunrise today - betraying, I
think, the rather complex structure to the cirriform cloud, which was
still evident up to ~0700Z. Multi-layer fibrous Cirrus, with perhaps
some Cirrostratus elements - and a lot of embd COTRA. Not quite so
dramatic now. ]=

1300 SW F3 40km - 1/CU 7/CI T264D154
RMK: [COTRA] - tr Cu hum~045 (merest hint as yet to the west), tr
Ac~180 (single patch to NE), 7Ci/COTRA (probably multi-lyr)~250/300.
Despite the often dense nature of the Cirrus, sunshine still reasonably
strong.=

1800 SSW F2 50km - 3/CI T258D156
RMK: [CAVOK] - 3Ci, fibrous to dense, the latter associated with a
retreating 'edge' to the east: up until 17Z, near full cover of Ci, then
rapid decrease.
[ DAYTIME DATA (09Z - 18Z):
screen max: 26.7 precipitation: NIL ]=
