Looking at the charts this morning shows the onset of the "European monsoon"
after an early spell of hot weather. Cooler west to northwest winds spread
across Britain by Wednesday. However, it looks weak this year and as per my
forecast issued last thursday I'm not expecting a lot of rain in the south
although there will be some.

Welcome back with news.demon Will grin DNS problems I'm led to beleive.

I was a bit worried that this maybe the end of our fine weather as the
unsettled weather this week is down to Tropical Storm Alberto remains,
often we see these old tropical systems head towards Iceland leaving us
with high pressure and warm air. I hope you're right about about the eu
monsoon :-)
