screen min: 13.1 grass min: 12.2 precipitation: 1.0 [24hr total: 02.0

other data: rain, mostly slight, from around 05Z until ~0730Z. Keeping
the soil surface nicely moist - I think we can give the collection of
washing-up water a miss today! ]=

RMK: 8Ns015/020 .. one of those rare occasions when I think I can
observe Nimbostratus and nothing else - uniform base and rain bucketing
down! It's been raining steadily here, mainly moderate, since 1230Z: all
buckets, water butts etc., nicely full ;-) =

RMK: trCu fra~018, 2Sc~060, 8Ac~120/140. Moderate (short periods heavy)
rain eased around 1515Z, becoming intermittent light thereafter.
[ DAYTIME DATA (09Z - 18Z):
screen max: 14.0 precipitation: 8.1
other data: In our short 7 year record, this is the lowest day maximum
for *any* June. Previous lowest day maximum for the _whole_ of June was
15.4°C on the 5th in 2002, and for the last 10 days of June, 15.8°C on
the 23rd. With today's precipitation, total rainfall for the month has
now leapt up to a respectable 27% of eLTA. ]=
