5mm of rain here and the butts are approx half full. I guess it takes
10mm to fill a 210litre butt.

Looks like the other half will be filled at the weekend!


.... having spent the last couple of weeks laboriously using washing-up
water to water the garden via a series of buckets strategically placed
around the garage and outside, I took great delight in drawing off water
from the butts today and now have said buckets full of rain-water all
over the place! Looking at the ENS output for the London grid-point at:-

I'm hoping we can eke out the collection until the beginning of July!
