Well after yesterday's terrific morning thunderstorm giving 18mm rain
we had a stifling hot day today with a max. of 26.0 deg C and a
dewpoint over 18 deg C at one time. Quite hot and stuffy for these
parts. Mind you I was in Guildford Surrey University at the weekend
and when I left Sunday afternoon the car thermo was reading 32.0 it
then rose to 32.5 at Camberley. Thankfully at home it was a more
tolerable 21.5 deg C. I couldn't get over how brown and dead the
grass looked in Guildford. I've just come in from cutting mine this
evening as it is now growing quickly again.

Completely cloudy now and quite sultry at 2100

Temp 20.6 deg C
Dewpoint 12 deg C
Variable 2 knots of wind.

Sweaty cheers,

Will.

I've recorded my first 30 degrees here since I screened my AWS - +30.9 DegC
