I don't think that was the cold front, Phil. That went through here at
Wokingham around 0900, and was marked by a band of heavy rain, (33 mm/hr
rain rate here at 0835Z). We also had a thunderstorm 1306 to 31 Z, and hail
shower at 1433Z. The former gave a temporary drop in temp of 2.5C, and the
latter a drop of circa 1.5C. The image below shows the Cb cluster over the
Salisbury Plain area that probably gave the TS here. The cold front itself
is over east Kent at that time (1117Z).
