Worst day here for some time - so far. Light rain after heavier burst in

the earlier hours. Grey, miserable and very windy. Temp now struggled up to
18C but feels colder - can't see it making the forecast 23C.

All depends on your point of view. For me it's one of the most pleasant
days for some time :-) Such a relief to get rid of the heat and
humidity and very refreshing to see cloudy skies and a bit of rain for a
change. A max in the range 18-20C and not too much sunshine is just
about perfect for me.

My wife was "out and about" this morning and when she came home at
midday she complained that it was getting a bit hot. The temperature at
the time was about 19C. We are very well matched temperature-wise :-)
