Reached 25.9C here yesterday. I reckon that will easily be beaten today,
even with a sea breeze. The sea is so warm now that if a breeze does occur
then it seems to have less an effect on reducing the temperature. Methinks
another dip in that there briny is called for.

Just got back from a swim. Almost calm conditions in the Bay this
morning, just a very light off shore ENE. As a result the temperature
had already reached 24.8C by noon. It may turn out to be the hottest
day of the year here today (Current hottest day this year 26.2C on 2nd
July). The winds coming right down the spine of the peninsula, so it's
only really exposed headlands that are getting any cooling affect. Also
I think the airs too stable for much of a south coast sea breeze to
develop.
