Default [OBS] Bracknell (Tawfield) Tue 18 Jul 2006

Tuesday, 18 July 2006
BRACKNELL (TAWFIELD)
0900 NE F3 50km - T253D132
RMK: [SKC/CAVOK] - considering the situation (length of warm/hot spell
and wind from an easterly point), visibility and sky clarity is
remarkably good.
[ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z):
screen min: 15.1 grass min: 11.8 precipitation: NIL [24hr total: 00.0
mm] ]=
1200 NNE F2-3 60km - T296D125
RMK: [SKC/CAVOK] - visibility OK, but distinct 'haziness' now towards N
& NE.=

1500 E F3 50km - T327D130
RMK: [SKC/CAVOK] - although clear of cloud (and still reasonably
'blue'), there are tantalising signs of high-base convection (a distinct
'haziness' at the top of the dry thermals). Also, although vis generally
good, looking even more 'brown/hazy' towards NE quadrant: with light
winds today, presumably accumulation of London basin pollution building
up.=
