Default Current May CET

Very interesting, Philip. So it's unlikely for May 2004 to be below average
overall then providing this long wave trough moves off.

Hi all,

Was just wondering if anyone knew what the May CET stands at as I

believe
that we have been somewhat down on the average temps!

10.0ºC exactly (up to this morning). That's 1.3 degC below the
mean for 1971-2000 for the whole of May, but almost exactly
spot on the mean for the first ten days of May. With only a few
exceptions, nights haven't been particularly cold.
