On Tuesday, with the Azores High building in from the West, and a
Scandinavian High in place, which path will the Jet Stream take?

1. Will it take a path between the two, with a weaker breakaway flow
also going around the top of the Scandinavian high, and both meeting up
again in Russia? If so, no major heatwave.

2. Or will the major flow go around the top of the Scandinavian High,
leaving a weaker flow down the North Sea to get cut-off and die. If
so, a major heatwave is on.
