I think you'll be OK, Dave. Its clearly going S, but also there's a
significant W'wards component too....

I wouldn't count my chickens yet. See how the western edge is
breaking up
and it's turning more to the East as it nears the Basildon triangle.
By the time it hits the South of the County I could be in for the
usual 1mm of drizzle!!

Nope!! Can you believe it - exactly as I predicted 3 hours ago. A bit of
the light blue stuff has nearly made the pavement wet! There is some more
sort of heading my way. News 24 forecast telling me that my persistent rain
will "fade by the small hours".
Ho hum.
