a Pileus cloud. I have been waiting years to catch such a sequence.


Lovely pics, but are the photos out of order? I couldn't figure out what
was
happening until I noticed the numbers were out of sequence - ignoring the
rest of the digits they go 13, 15, 16, 17, 14.

I'd be really interested to read a definition of a pileus cloud. Wikipedia
gives a very short description but not quite enough to satisfy my
curiosity.

I will have to check the order - again -, I too thought they had
posted out of sequence. I checked the exif and decided they were in
fact in order but you must realise I am getting old!!!!
