I think it's a bit extreme to call it a flood, but that's the media for you!
We've just been walking this evening down by the Ystwyth in the Hafod estate,
and there are clearly paths which the river often takes that are still not
flowing. This is just three miles or so from the site of that rescue. Maybe
"rising water" would have been a netter term, though not so good for headline
grabbing.

I think, though, with now 39mm of rain in the last three days, our water
supply is safe!
