Beautiful clouds in between Canterbury and Folkestone this afternoon. A
cross between Pileus and Lenticularis is the best way I can describe them.
Stunning! And I left my damn camera at home!

Smooth, well defined brownish, grey, purple swathes. Some associated with
other clouds (pileus) then sweeping into clear blue sky (lenticularis). The
wavelike top edge so sharp, yet the shapes so flowing. They looked
artificial in their smooth, airbrushed shades and shapes.

Did anyone else see them?

Best I can do in text....What a day to forget the digicam. Still kicking
myself!
