I haven't read the article but remember that the data from the 1970's
onto the (at least) early eighties was to say the least suspect. What
with badly calibrated satellites and lost computer codecs.

And who is to say that the modern measures are accurate?

Nah, I don't think I'll bother reading it. Let fools debate the true
reality. I'd rather see the world the way it used to be.
