Default [WR] Warmer today than any time during August in Canterbury

Martin Rowley
writes (on the 6th
September)
... still got a couple of degrees to go here in Bracknell before we
beat
the August high, as you write, on the 6th of that month (then 28.2,
today 26.3); however, the progs look good to come close or exceed
later
this weekend or early next week.

.... just to round this off, we have today (11th September) had a day
maximum of 28.8°C, beating any temperature in August; the warmest day
since 26th July. In our short record (began 2000) it is also our highest
September temperature, previously 27.5°C last year.

Martin.
