Dover warmest today

As is common at this time of the year, partly due to the warmest sea
temperatures in British waters and the proximity of a still warm
continental landmass; Dover was probably the warmest spot in Britain
today. My Davis Vantage Pro recorded 24.2 C (topping the Mets official
highest at Herstmonceux of 23.7). A fantastic warm late summer day,
and a balmy evening - temperature 18.1 @2117. It will be a balmy night
again but today's minimum of 17.4 will probably be superceded.
Maybe not. No actual data but as I recorded 21.1 at altitude then low down in
Devon, somewhere probably got 24-25C. Anyone?
At 2145 temperature has now crashed down to 10.8 deg C under clear skies.
