Default Oregon Scientific weather station predictions

Mine is also showing rain. I understand there is a weak front due to be
moving down from the North, though I wouldn't expect anything more than some
cloud.

Yup. My Oregon Scientific WM918 also shows rain. I also have a couple of
other units which indicate the same. Pressure has fallen a bit throughout
today - I shouldn't worry! Apparently the Davis Vantage Pro has a similar
feature but uses temp, hum etc to predict the weather as well.

I have bought a Oregon Scientific model BAA898HG for £68 It shows
indoor/outdoor temperature, indoor/outdoor humidity, air pressure and

a
weather forecast window with symbols. I live less than a mile from

Luton
Airport and comparing the airports weather it is not too bad.
Oregon is showing the outside temperature as 20.5C, air pressure of

1024
humidity 54% while the airport is reporting 21C, 1025, humidity 56%.

Since
I got up this morning the Oregon is showing pressure dropping and a
prediction of rain. Is this just a toy and I am expecting too much or

is
it
just having a bad day?

Mine says rain too, although it bases this purely on pressure, which has
dropped over the last 24hrs very slowly. A look out of the window should
tell you that rain isn't exactly on its way !
