Default August vs September

Yes, it has almost certainly been both warmer and sunnier than August.
The CET looks like coming out about 16.6C which will equal the warmest
September ever. August CET was 16.4C. Up to yesterday (27th) the total
sunshine was 159.5hrs; the total for August was 161.5 so only two more
hours needed to equal it.


The last time Spetember was warmer than August was in 1956. Not sure
about sunshine.
