Evening all,
Cant find the earlier thread (was it on here, or on TWO?) reference the long
run of nights with ninima in excess of 10c.
Anyway - it's now October 1st and I still haven't had a night minimum below
10c since June 7th here in Bournemouth. That is unpredecented in the 10
years that I've kept records here - just wondering how unusual it is.
Anyone else had a longer run or not had a minimum below 10c this autumn so
far?
Jim_ I will have a look at my figures for Milton Abbas hopefully
Tuesday a.m.
and may be our member in Fareham will do the same. Being a rural
location I would expect lower night minimum readings.
Dodged mega showers today by going underground at Burrington
(mendips). When I surfaced at 1248 there had been a mega shower and
the volumn of water roaring down the Combe was impressive. Much of it
was being diverted into one of the dead end caves.
When I went down Swildon's at Priddy a few rumbles started as we went
in to the Hole. Not much happened whilst we were inside, which is a
shame as it can be pretty sporting stuff at that location.
I don't think there was much during the day at home though..
