BRACKNELL (TAWFIELD)
0900 S F3 35km -RA 1/SC 4/AC 8/AS T124D112
RMK: 1Sc~060, 4Ac~100, 8As~140; slight rain (-RA) began 0825Z (9.25am
BST) - the As (the precipitating cloud as far as I can make out), is
highly variable, with much of it thin enough to allow the sun to be seen
through it quite clearly, yet steady rain is falling.
[ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z):
screen min: 08.0 grass min: 05.3 precipitation: tr [24hr total: tr]
other data: trees are still in full leaf, and the overwhelming
proportion of the leaves are green (though 'tired & dull' now).
Presumably we need some persistently cooler weather to kick in the
autumnal changes, though the decreasing daylength should also trigger a
'fading' now.]=
1300 SSW F4 18km -RA 3/ST 7/SC 8/SC T134D118
RMK: 3St~012, 7Sc~018, 8Sc~030. Rain has been rather hit and miss for
much of the morning, but rather more persistent from ~1145Z; total
rainfall since 09Z 0.9 mm.=
1500 SW F3 8000 RA 2/ST 6/SC 8/NS T145D132
RMK: 2St~010, 6Sc~015, 8Ns~025. Moderate rain set in around 30 mins
ago, but total rainfall since 09Z still not too dramatic at 2.1 mm.=

1800 SW F3 25km - 1/ST 5/SC 8/AC T152D141
RMK: [RE-RADZ, PPN ceased ~ 1715Z] - 1St~014, 5Sc~025, 8Ac~080.
[ DAYTIME DATA (09Z - 18Z):
screen max: 15.2 precipitation: 3.7
other data: continuous rain through much of the afternoon, with moderate
rain between 1430 & 1600Z. ]=
