I know that you're being jocular, but that seems rather unfair. Surely
you don't expect Will to pretend to be certain on those occasions when
he is not? I would much prefer an honest forecast. I think that the
"professional" forecasts that appear on radio and TV more often are
flawed by an appearance of over-certainty rather than the reverse. (To
be fair, the presenters are often denied the time needed to put in the
qualifications that they would no doubt like to include.)
