Max rate between bucket tips was 75 mm/hour.

Local roads are badly flooded and traffic disrupted. Over the past year
we have had many severe weather warnings for conditions that didn't
happen. Now we have probably the most disruptive weather around here in
the past year but there's no severe weather warning this time. Ah! -
The joys of weather forecasting :-)

Moderate rain continues at 1820z.

Norman that looks as though my forecast has gone for a Burton as soon as
it has been issued.
Deep Joy.
