RMK: Lanes now very muddy with standing water in
several places; a little standing water also in fields that
were ploughed and sown (previously fallow) only five
weeks ago. (Glacial deposit clay atop the chalk).

53.0mm of rain since Oct 2 making 57.3mm for the month
so far ... I'm now going to try to apportion it with the help
of a TSR chart with nine days of traces on it (which will
probably take all morning). Tx since Oct 2 has been 20.2.
