I would need to install an air conditioning unit to keep temperatures inside
as low as that at present. It's 14C outside at present and the maximum for
the last few days has been around 17 to 18C so inside it is getting up to
20C easily. It must be quite cool in Haytor.

Alan, it's always cool in Haytor! Last summer my inside temperature rarely got
above 22C and most of the time it was around 20C. That's one reason I wanted to
live high up as I hate heat.
