Should there be much in the way of sunshine tomorrow it will be
interesting to see what maximum temperatures are attained: 17 to 19 C
widely across the South, with peaks 20 to 21 C ? We'll see.

It might be warm this year, but it was actually warmer last October. I
recorded 20.6C on the 30th October 2005 here in Canterbury. The mean,
mean maximum and mean minimum are all lower than last year's October (to
date).

My warmest October was 2001 (14.5C), followed by 2005 & 1995 (both
14.0C).

Looks like being about 14.7 this year.
