My own data only covers the 7 months from June, but with a full set from
somewhere nearby, I could estimate the other 5 months and so get an estimate of
the annual mean.

I found the EA very helpful for supplying rainfall data. They provided
me (for free!) with monthly rainfall averages for around a 10 sites
within 20 miles of Penzance.

Whenever there's a noteworthy local weather event, they have been very
helpful in suplying data.
