Default Weather data 2004 - help needed

Maybe:
1 )SEPA, Scottish environmental Protection Agency?

2) the BADC archive. http://badc.nerc.ac.uk/home/

You need permission to access that, they do have data for Aberdeen daily
for rain and temps.
(maybe another station closer too).

I might be able to help out on the BADC data.

Dorian.

Does any kind soul have a set of monthly data for somewhere in NE
Scotland for
2004 that they would be willing to let me have ?

I need monthly mean min and mean max temps, and monthly rainfall, for
the full year.

My own data only covers the 7 months from June, but with a full set from
somewhere nearby, I could estimate the other 5 months and so get an
estimate of
the annual mean.

I found the EA very helpful for supplying rainfall data. They provided
me (for free!) with monthly rainfall averages for around a 10 sites
within 20 miles of Penzance.

Whenever there's a noteworthy local weather event, they have been very
helpful in suplying data.

Enjoy your surfing.

Thanks Graham, but the EA does not seem to cover this country.

The sea is a bit rough but I am not sure surfing is a good idea at the
moment (-:
