I think Dave and Steve will be starting to experience those higher wind
speeds soon as the low moves away eastwards,
backing and increasing here now, as forecast. SST is still 12-13C around
here so plenty of energy to boost the low as it heads for Norway.

It haven't been following the MSLP charts, but is this the low that hit the
round the world sailors in the Bay of Biscay a couple of days ago?
