In a week's time I'm going to be setting off to sail on a tall ship
from Gibraltar to Madeira. I have no idea what the weather is likely
to be, except vague tourist-friendly spiel about the lovely weather
on the island itself.
Can anyone recommend somewhere that I might find out typical (or even
forecast, now we're getting closer) conditions for that part of the
Atlantic, both day and night. I want to work out what clothes to
pack.
Some of these sites may give you what you want:-

As to forecast conditions, then others have suggested computer-generated
output, but these are unreliable for small islands groups, particularly
as regards temperatu I'm not sure I'd use them even for Gib., which
also has a climate of its own & which automated output finds difficult
to capture!
