Cloud definitely cumuliform, hence report of shower rather than drizzle
or rain.
[ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z):
screen min: 10.0 grass min: 07.8 precipitation: 0.6 [24hr total: 00.6
mm]
other data: intermittent rain/drizzle overnight did not produce any
accumulation in gauge up to 08Z, then the recent moderate rain shower
came along and gave us the reported rainfall. Night max. (13.7) also the
24hr max. for the 12th ]=

PPN ceased ~0915Z, with brief spells of strong sunshine since.=
