117mm so far in Penzance, of which approx 45mm fell in 48 Hours up to
13:00 today.
Interestingly we are still running a slightly negative 24-hr temp
anomaly: -0.3 C at present, due to the cold start to the month.
+0.3 here (Max +0.8 Min -0.3)
10 air frosts already recorded this November!
It always amazes me how frosty it is just a short way inland in Devon,
compared with west Cornwall. Frosts here in November are rare. The last
air frost was -0.5C on 22nd November 1996. Coldest night so far this
November 2.9C on 5th.
An interesting night to come...
Wind's died right away here, currently the calmest it's been for days.
Just a very light westerly, we're the calm side of the front.
I expect a strong westerly to pick up by dawn.
