Hi All,

I know its hard to think about snow, and wintry conditions amongst all

this
heat, but what are peoples opinions on possible snowfall and cold weather
this coming winter?

The reason I ask, is because this spell of hot weather, in terms of both
high temps and the duration is so unusual for the UK, it makes me wonder

if
it will be proceeded by a stormy Autumn and harsh winter.

Would I be correct in saying that hot summers equals a harsh, snowy

winter?

Any opinions / comments?

Many thanks all,

Rob.

Well Rob there are some well known old folk-lore sayings around summer heat
like this.

"If August sweat, be present on a toad.
Then December snow shall block your road"

" If all August sky be shimmering blue.
Then a December cold weather payment for you is due."

That's just some I'll try to remember the rest.
