-------------------------------------------------------------

0900z SW F3-4 20km RE-RA 1Sc050 5Ac080 07.5/05.5 991
RMK: Very sharp back edge to the cloud rapidly approaching from the
west. Mostly clear blue sky beyond it. The "storm" was
something
of a non-event here. 7.7 mm of rain and a max measured gust
of 26 knots. This probably corresponds to about 35 knots at
a better exposed site in the area.
24-HR STATISTICS: Max (0900-0900z): 10.6 at 1450z
Min (0900-0900z): 6.8 at 1925z
Grass min (1500-0900z): 6.7
Rain (0900-0900z): 7.7 mm

Norman.

A very similar experience here with two gusts of 30 knots and 5.6mm of rain
so nothing particularly abnormal about it. My anemometer is not well exposed
so the true gust strength would hav been greater.
