Ouch!

I've been keeping an eye on the IR satellite at
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/satpics/latest_uk_ir.html and it shows up
quite nicely. However, my impression is that it could traverse south of
here. Currently, we're in the clear patch and things have calmed down
again but I'm posting [WR]s at two hourly intervals after 14:00 so it'll
be interesting to see how it develops.

I did put a number of caveats in my original post ;-)
